Paul Davis Supports Our Local Communities

Fall has arrived and Paul Davis is helping worthy causes across North America by volunteering our people, equipment, time and expertise. Our employees gave back to a diverse range of charitable causes recently to support the communities in which they live and work.

Crisis Support Center: Paul Davis of Simcoe County, Ontario and the Red Cross quickly took action this past July when devastation caused by a tornado, with winds exceeding 124 mph, affected over 100 homes in Ontario, Canada. In collaboration with the Red Cross, the Paul Davis tent became part of the crisis support center where victims were able to seek shelter and speak with a counselor.

Supporting First Responders: Paul Davis of Greater Alabama hosted the monthly meeting of the Fire Marshals Association of Alabama, Central District. This office also participated in the Center Point Fire District annual charity golf tournament in memory of a local firefighter and paramedic. This office also joined local insurance agent to facilitate a golf outing benefiting a local high school quarterback club.

Hitting the Links for Charity: Paul Davis of Greater Saint Paul and Minneapolis hosted the 9th Annual Paul Davis Golf Outing and raised $10,000 for the American Red Cross.

Supporting Female Fighters: Paul Davis of the Tri-State Area of Kentucky recently sponsored “Can you take the heat?”, a camp for girls aged 12- 14 to learn about becoming firefighters. This camp was led by 20 local female firefighters in the Cincinnati, OH, area.

Climbing Stairs in Memory: Paul Davis of Southwest Missouri participated in the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation’s 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb to honor and remember the New York City firefighters who died on September 11, 2001. Each participant paid tribute by climbing the equivalent of 110 stories, the number of floors originally in the World Trade Center.
