Paul Davis Supports Our Local Communities

As summer continues, Paul Davis team members are volunteering in their communities to improve lives for people who need an extra helping hand. Here’s where we contributed over the last several months:

Trucking in Funds for Crime Prevention: Paul Davis Red Deer, Alberta, recently volunteered to pitch in at Touch-A-Truck, a family-friendly event that gets kids up close and personal with favorite large vehicles from garbage trucks to Zambonis (ice resurfacers. Proceeds supported the Central Alberta Crime Prevention Centre.

Making the Community Blossom: Paul Davis Southwestern Nova Scotia, sponsored the Grand Street Parade at the Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival. Drawing nearly 15,000 gleeful participants to fireworks and other fun activities, this festival has been a treasured community tradition since 1933.

Recognizing Fallen Heroes: In honor of Memorial Day, Paul Davis of North Florida volunteered to place about 22,000 flags at gravesites of veterans at the Jacksonville National Cemetery. Paul Davis of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, held a moment of silence that day in remembrance of veterans who gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country.

Polishing Wartime Memorabilia: Paul Davis of Northeast Indiana restored a precious item for the Veteran’s National Memorial Shrine and Museum. The museum appreciated the expertise that team members applied to restoring a WWI “MERCI” Forty and Eight boxcar that France gifted to the United States as a thank you for wartime support.

Supporting First Responders: Paul Davis of Raleigh, Durham, North Carolina, served lunch to 40 members of the local SWAT team and discussed how Paul Davis team members can help this critical tactical police unit.
