As the new year begins, Paul Davis continues to dedicate its time and care to neighbors in all of our communities, working safely during the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s a privilege to call these communities home and to lend our people, funding, equipment and time to worthy causes.
Here’s where Paul Davis made a difference recently:
Paul Davis of North Atlanta Supports NFFF: The office recently hosted its annual Charity Golf Tournament to raise funds for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. The event had 100 golfers and raised just over USD$30,000. Paul Davis is a national sponsor of this organization, which honors fallen firefighters, supports the families and seeks to reduce firefighter deaths and injuries.
Paul Davis of Emmitsburg Lights the Night: Team members at this location joined the NFFF Light the Night Red event, lighting buildings and homes with red light to honor those who gave their lives in the line of duty.Â
Paul Davis of The Gables Helps Florida Children The office organized their 5th Annual Toys for Tots and collected over 200 unwrapped toys for kids in need. “With many families affected by the pandemic, the office continues moving forward and giving as much as possible with the help of employees and subcontractors,” said owner Ofelia Lucas.Â
Paul Davis of Omaha Treats Local First Responders for Thanksgiving
Joe D’Elia, Emergency Recovery Coordinator (ERC), delivered hams to 34 fire stations in their territory making sure those working during the holiday could enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. This location has also been fogging fire stations and apparatus when requested and delivering lunches for firefighters each week as a way to support these local heroes during the pandemic.
Paul Davis Kitchener-Waterloo Sponsors Santa Claus Parade: Every year, the office sponsors the local Santa Claus parade, organized by the Lions Club of Kitchener. This 2020, the event became a static parade due to COVID-19 restrictions. Members of the community drove through to see Santa and make donations of toys and food. The office facilitated the event by donating labor, trucks, and warehouse space. The Lions Club is an international organization with local chapters in more than 200 countries under the motto “We Serve.”
