Paul Davis Restoration business units throughout North America set aside time, extend personal expertise, and provide financial support to needy local causes. In addition to these locally focused efforts, throughout 2024 we are also proudly providing sponsorship to the American Red Cross. This Red Cross partnership includes volunteer work for ‘Sound the Alarm’ events that install free smoke alarm detectors for enhanced community safety. More so, we participate in local Red Cross blood drives that help ensure a stable nationwide blood supply. Our overriding goal is to make a meaningful impact in communities we serve nationwide and to create positive change in the lives of those in need.
Our Social Purpose was established in 2018 by FirstService Brands, our parent company, with the #FirstServeOthers hashtag. Paul Davis Atlanta Georgia Area Businesses Raise $90,000 for NFFF Foundation
The National Fallen FireFighters (NFFF) honor America’s fallen fire heroes by raising funds to support their families, colleagues and organizations; plus work diligently to reduce preventable firefighter deaths and injury. Starting in 2020, Paul Davis Restoration Atlanta-area businesses launched their Metro-Atlanta Fighters Classic which has grown to be a highly popular annual golf event. This year’s event was a September sell-out at Bear’s Best Atlanta, one of Georgia’s premier public golf clubs featuring Jack Nicklaus’ favorite golf course designs from around the world. Joining Paul Davis as participating sponsors were AllState Insurance, Superhero Fire Protection and FRS Team Content Restoration Specialists, among others. Additional fundraising for NFFF continued two days following the golf outing with a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb organized by Paul Davis Restoration and First Service Residential. Both companies particiating employees and others reached the 2,200 stair / 110-story goal carrying 40 lbs. ruck, the weight of gear New York firefighters carried with them that day. The climb typically takes 1½ hours and honors the 343 firefighters who died that day and the 370 firefighters who have died of related illnesses in the 23 years since.
Paul Davis of Utah Supports Firefighting Career Building at Camp Sparta
“It was a huge success and wouldn’t have been possible without help from Paul Davis Restoration of Greater Utah”, said Taylor Ward of the Murray City Fire Department.
Camp Sparta graduated 16 young people from its most recent class. Participants got a good taste of how the fire service works and what could be expected of them if they want to pursue a career in firefighting. They learned 14 fire/medical skills, along with life skills. Many graduates found the experience to be one of the hardest efforts they have ever done and they achieved a big sense of accomplishment by completing it. An added bonus; giving the participants confidence should they meet this or other hardships in life. They can overcome them.
