Three years ago, Raul Rivera joined Paul Davis Restoration of the Delmarva Peninsula. Once he’d finished high school he had entered the construction business learning to properly hang drywall and doing metal framing for commercial buildings. It was interesting work and involved commercial mid- and high-rise buildings up to 30 stories. Looking for work that was more stable, and with a company where he could grow his responsibilities and income, he came across Paul Davis Restoration. “I quickly learned new skills that are needed for both home and commercial mitigation and restoration. Today, I am a multi-tasked technician doing mitigation work, and sometimes trauma work. I also conduct MatterportR scans where video and software for a 3D model of a physical space reveals hard to see damage, so our customers can submit convincing evidence when filing insurance claims. It’s really cool technology.”
